Delicious
Good quality food. Service: unfriendly, unprofessional and that evening by no means courteous staff. Ordered a starter plate for 2 people, several starter plates came for about 40 € When asked in a friendly manner that it was way too much for a starter, the waiter reacted unfriendly. We had to wait over 20 minutes for drinks. Likewise when reordering. The waiter was apparently an unskilled and little talented temporary worker. The menu misses many of the usual typical Greek specialties. Quite a disappointment.
Everything fresh and top quality
Super tasty and great location
I was here for the first time and definitely anything but a Greek restaurant. The dishes were inspired by Greek cuisine, but too much fusion. Imagine a tzatziki without garlic but with orange peel or something similar or a Cretan salad without mizithra but with fried aubergines!? No waiter speaks Greek, even our waiter couldn't even name Plomari when we asked which ouzos they were offering. Then the question of whether this or that grape variety, again no idea, so that the restaurant would probably have chosen the Greek wines on the wine list just randomly und somehow also some good ones from Santorin or Naoussa. The atmosphere is too chic, which is maybe a plus for some, but not for me, especially since I'm back in Munich after a whole month on the Greek islands. Well, you can go there for a nice dinner and treat you well, but you have to know in advance that it is anything but Greek. Speaking of which, after a certain time the music is so loud that you think you are in a club and of course no Greek hits. So, anyway, I don't allow myself to give 2 or 3 stars because the food was good.
Service rather bored and unfriendly
Very nice to sit outside (ideal for Corona). Super delicious food, friendly service, even if the waiter forgot an order. Good wines. Again any time.
? One of the chicest Greek restaurants in Munich. The location is in Munich Schwabing (near Leopoldstrasse). You can dine both inside and outside in the “garden” on the terrace. This time we were 6 friends for dinner at Kytaro and had steak + fish. Tasted good.
Top food & top service! Had a very nice evening on the terrace! ! Price-performance absolutely ok
You won't get the typical Greek dishes of other Greek restaurants, yet the food is very tasty and the service is good. The location is very beautiful and relaxed. The price is definitely higher than for most standard Greek restaurants.
Good food, but little Greek influence for a Greek restaurant (Vitello Tonnato ^^). Service very nice, but the bottle of white wine should be cold. Priced at the high end of the acceptable. Perhaps it was due to the direction of the wind when we visited, but it always smelled of horse stable. Weak: not a single ouzo, that's hoid gor ned.
First class Food top. Service top but the prices are accordingly high
Nice evening in the Kytaro. The Greek starter was very fresh and very good. It's a shame that there are so few Greek specialties in the main courses. Service was very nice, very friendly and attentive.
Great shop, good food and great crew!
Kytaro is not like a typical Greek restaurant. There are no classic meals like gyros, metaxa or moussaka. Therefore you can choose from a variety of fancy seafood or meat dishes. The starters range from Fava to pulpo carpaccio or scallops. The main dishes were amazing, e.g. monkfish filet with Venus clams in Saffron-whitewine-sauce. In addition, the fries were also really crunchy! So if you are willing to enjoy a very good meal, drink some ouzu and have a blast, you should visit Kytaro. But be prepared to spend a looooot of money to have a great night!
Super nice evening, fantastic food, professional service ... Boss and boss always present ...
Top
Service is good, like any Greek managed place. Calamari were really good actually. It's a shame that the fava and pita bread were not fresh at all, I even has stomachache afterwards
Excellent !!
Super tasty, prices very high.
We were there with a large group of 40 people on a Friday evening. The decor is pleasant, service friendly and attentive, the atmosphere good. However, the food was very disappointing. Visually, the place looks more modern and expensive than comparable Greeks, but with a focus on the food I would rather refer to the Kalypso or Paros.
After a bill of 160 € and a tip of 10 € we wanted something to close the bottle to take with us, unfortunately we were not interested in two waitresses and ignored us. Only a young woman brought us anything. Good service is another pity the food very good service zero very arrogant pity ??
